As this term is approaching the middle mark (ie midterms are around the corner), reflections and ponderings start up again. This happens every term. In fact, at the end of the term, I bet we'll all be asking why didn't we work harder earlier, instead of having to learn everything within two days... (sound familiar B?) Anyway, so yeah, all these info sessions about jobs, grad events, labs/work that your prof suddenly throws at you, project meetings, are all happening at the same time. Why do they have to put these all at around the same time? They should've just shoved all grad events to the last month - have the IRC, IRS and gradball then! That would help a lot for people who have poor time management (ie me). Well, maybe grad events don't take up that much time, but I'm getting somewhat annoyed by ppl asking if I'm going to this, or going to that and then having to explain why I'm not going to this or that. I guess I'm just nervous about this last term - kind of behind in work, and not yet fully realizing the extent of my screwedness. In fact, I'm feeling somewhat lost too in my readings - the more I learn, the more I don't understand!!! Ah well, such is the way of life...
[Edit] I'm just gonna append to this entry - my housemate sent me this link and I think it's awesome - I've always wondered what the faces behind voice actors and radio hosts are like...
Some characters from The Simpsons.
And here's a pretty big video of some ppl having fun in WoW.... I guess server crashes ain't always bad huh?
